Picked this rifle up in 2011 after noticing the imperial eagle in the top of the receiver. I found out later that early 20s dated mosins can be hard to find. This one is a typical post-war refurb but has a nice look to it. Thanks for looking.

We were there the beginning of March, that's the only time I've been to that shop in person. Clayshooter spends time in the area occasionally and had been there before IIRC. Small world.

Been past it, always wanted to go in; but the wife is always in a hurry to get to Plainwell out to my sister's lake house. Next time we go I am stopping in there though. Now I know what they have, the wife ain't keeping me away.

I figured those M38s were from there. I probably had my hands all over those, too. I'm only an hour from the shop, but only recently 'discovered' it when I was on a truck parts hunting trip. I'm glad this SCW made it to a good home. I have a few others up my sleeve. I'll have something cool to show off by the end of the week which Brandon talked me into buying. When was the last time you were up here?

Later this week it would've been! Always a day late and a dollar short! I've had my grubby hands all over it several times. Brandon has got to quite selling you guys all the guns I want. The last time I was there I noticed all the M38s were gone and found out Alden bought them then he got all the Polish trainers. I thought I had found my own little honey hole!  It's quite a place though, if you ever make it up this way we all ought to go shooting.
